Oh dear. I was actually worried about your health, from not having heard from you for so long. I hope the damn thing goes away fast, and still wish you a happy new year.

A speedy return to robust health!

I tried connecting with the WTC site on my stepson's computer, this during our weeklong trip. Sadly, I couldn't get any sound or film out of it. I could be I didn't understand the computer. Gave up after about 20 minutes as the grandchildren awoke and my heart went elsewhere.

We hope to get new computers as soon as we find out our financial situation after January taxes. I promise to try again. Our elderly computers are barely up to email & lj.

Again, many thanks for your call. Jane was uplifted, and that means so much to me.

Oh, by the way, I find my recovery is speeded up by a "green tea" of c. 4-6 cups boiling water with 1 tbs siberian ginseng, 1 tbs wild oatstraw, 1 tsp alfalfa, 1 tsp red clover, 1 tsp dandelion leaves, 1 tsp nettles, 6-8 fireweed leaves, 1 oz Mormon tea twigs. If my nose is stuffy, I add 1/2 tsp of mullein (velvet dock) flowers or, for ultimate strength, an entire leaf. Steep 30 minutes or so. (Obviously, some of this I collect myself, which is a lot of fun.) My stepdaughter, bless her for staying with us & helping out, assures me it smells disgusting. I think it smells of fresh mown grass, which I miss in the Rockies. Maybe that's why it always perks me up.
