Talking about your feelings and having a British accent are not compatible.

My, my -- I'd be stuck as a psychotherapists, now, wouldn't I?

(Of course, I do considerably more. Just talking about feelings doesn't doesn't help much for most things, I find.)

On a serious note: have you any advice in preparing a good cup of tea at 8,000 ft? Right now, the best I've been able to do is settle for Chai, with fresh ground spices, and low-boil the tea c. 3-5 mins. I find, through camping, that tea does at least acceptably until about 3500 ft. After that, well.... And in Colorado, much of Utah and all of northern NM -- actually anywhere within, say, 6 hours drive, it's all above, often well above, 3500. Perhaps there a type of tea that does better at altitude? (I find green tea doesn't lose nearly as much. But green tea, well, that's green tea, not real tea.)

Congrats on finishing a long-term fanfic!

Best wishes to you & yours.

Re: Working on that q.

Thanks for checking that question. Simla is almost exactly our altitude. Though I suspect that, sadly, "old Simla hands" are getting less common.

Jane & I are enjoying good health -- kind of you to ask. On the plus side, we're planning a joint presentation at a therapy conference in November. On the minus side, the parents of our grandchildren are going through an extremely messy divorce, and we're 1000 miles away & unable to buffer the children, 4 & 7 y/o.

Jane sends her best wishes, and we hope things are well with you.
