Ha!

Cute, OK; useful, undoubtedly, but I'm an Ashley Giles woman through and through. I'd forgotten what a crush was until last summer. :-(

Yes.Well.

Similarly, I will always be a complete Jones S fanboy.

Re: Yes.Well.

Ahhh. Jones S; I like his playing (and loathe his absence) but can't stand his hair-cut. I've never really understood how you get past really short hair. *shows age*.

What, 19?

You're ageless, love.

Although the views you express on the short back and sides are those of a superannuated hippie. (All in fun, dear, do put down the spanner....)

I need hardly say I've no qualms abt hair-cuts.

Re: What, 19?

'Short back and sides' isn't a hair-cut, it's a sentence. As for the shaving of blokes' heads - unbelieveable. And the further compounding of the crime by the wearing of wee finely-crafted beards - shudder.

The spanner remains untroubled; I look like a superannuated hippie.

Labour voters, Wemyss?

It's the stubble.

I've no aesthetic objection to beardlets, per se, though I do roll my eyes at the attitude that underpins that fad. I've no aesthetic objection to cropped heads, per se, though deliberate baldness is barking.

My objection to stubble is simply that I don't enjoy beard-burn on my inner thighs.

That was me, of course, above. Bah.

Did you people never SEE Sachin Tendulkar? I mean, I'm not exactly an expert on these things, but he's attractive. Isn't he? Plus, I mean, he could bat, eh?
wemyss From: wemyss Date: March 5th, 2006 02:22 pm (UTC) (Link)

Yes, and yes.

Mind you, he'll be a damned sight more attractive when he's no longer playing against the England side in a Test match.

But yes, he's a lovely man with a superb bat (and a fine arse): in both senses, it's a pity he bats for the other side.

Nice one, yes... ;)

Since I am absolutely clueless when it comes to sports: What team does he play for?
wemyss From: wemyss Date: March 6th, 2006 10:43 pm (UTC) (Link)

He, M'dear, is Alastair Cook.

21 years in age, Gloucs-born, an Old Bedfordian, he plays county cricket for Essex, and was called up from the A squad to play in the Test for England, where, in his first Test match, he made his century.
