Hi darling

I know I ordered a couple of books for Christmas presents a while ago, and they've not got here yet. Do you know how long they usually take to send out?

That's not good.

Amazon or Lulu?

Re: That's not good.

Lulu. I should really find my notification/receipt thing I suppose.

Re: That's not good.

Hum. 18th November... I am guessing something has gone horribly wrong somewhere.

I blame Mandelson.

Then, I always do.

Re: I blame Mandelson.

He deserves it. He really does.

I just started work on the 1918-1923 book. The title is still uncertain - I am waiting for a stroke of genius. It must be something horrible, because the subject demands it.

Meanwhile, I'm sending you an e-mail on another possible project.

Super.

Why not DLG's 'wild men screaming through keyholes'?

Re: Super.

ACtually, that sounds like something you'd have fun doing yourself. How many Britons do you suppose are there who realize that, within living memory, there was a British Prime Minister who had a murderer for a right-hand man and accumulated enormous sums through selling honours?

And wasn't ...

... Tony Blair.

Nor yet...

,,,Gordon Brown. Nothing new under the sun, eh?
