Slashfen in Wilts?
The first crop circle of 2006 has now appeared in Wilts, at Baltic Farm, near Avebury.

It is a 300-foot circle within which is the simple legend, G&H.

I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS.  So, local H/D fans: 'fess up.

The first cuckoo of spring?

Two things I heard last year from different sources:

1. A bunch of men from Dorset claim credit for most of the crop circles in the UK

2. 95% of crop circles are found in Dorset

Well, that's what the Ministry tell Muggles.

Mooncalves, actually, as we all know.

To be serious, if Dorset leads, Wilts must be a close second. It's a standing joke at this point, the damned things are ubiquitous.

http://www.circlemakers.org/

is quite a splended site; they claim to be the originators, and are Wilts based. The site isn't well-organised, but the photos are amazing.

Oooooh, shiny, as they say (who? Dunno. See it in fanfic all the time.)

Fascinating. Thanks.
