Everybody has dragons. The US Army Chemical Corps has a dragon. There's a teeny tiny dragon reserve under my television set...

It's all about Welshmen when they sing, though!

Not only Welshmen.

Dame Shirley, after all....

He Loved Goooooooooooooooooooooooold.....

Oh, right. I remember standing around with my friends as a teenager trying to hold my breath as long as she held that note!

Not an easy thing to do.

Here's our dragon. It has a name, although I forget what it is...

I think about Wales from time to time, as my Jamaican grandfather was a merchant seaman out of Cardiff about a hundred years ago.

Quite right, too.

Any number of famous Welsh Americans, after all.

Llanfair P.G.!

There's an extensive note by Capt. Geo Meager AFC in his My Airship Flights, a volume remarkable for its containing little beyond just what the title implies, on that place & its impossible name, along of the fact that the Royal Navy Airship Service as-was had a station nearby at Llangefni, where he was billetted at The Bull for lack of other quarters, the barmaid there being from Ll.P.G. & giving him the catechism.

Men of Harlech as sung by the Royal Regiment of Wales in the chapel at Rorke's Drift
