Five uneasy pieces: random facts - Wemyss's Appalling Hobby:
From the Party Guilty of Committing 'Gate of Ivory, Gate of Horn'
Five uneasy pieces: random facts

Having been, as I understand, ‘tagged’, and having no particular objection (I don’t slavishly adhere to any such Internet customs), I give you five random facts about me.

  1. I’ve nothing against the neurotypical, I simply haven’t much to say to them.  (Now that I come to think of it, this may explain a goodish deal about my Net and RL interactions with people, and why, when things do go awry, they do so badly and permanently.  It certainly has much to do with my fascination with the Potterverse, many of whose denizens, particularly the Muggleborn and those raised with Muggles, must also experience a good deal of what the Aspie / HFA does.  One could read a great part of the canon as an extended metaphor for that, actually.  Gad, now I’m responsible for more plot-bunnies….)
  2. Quite likely in consequence of the above, I have learnt not to trust readily, most especially in the bedroom.
  3. I come of a notably green-handed family, and have inherited that trait in full measure.
  4. Thanks to my mother, I’ve also an excellent, inherited, ear for music.
  5. I’ve the voice for radio (and have in fact done some radio work in my misspent youth); I refrain by main force from making the usual observation that I’ve the face for it, as well.

Any of you lot who wish to play along may do so.  Or not.  As you like.

That joke is almost painful enough...

... to be one of mine.

What does 'tagged' mean? (Sorry to be so ignorant!)

Not at all.

Had to ask 'round the first time myself. Simply, it means that someone else who's played the quiz designates you to play.
