Oh, by the way, I find my recovery is speeded up by a "green tea" of c. 4-6 cups boiling water with 1 tbs siberian ginseng, 1 tbs wild oatstraw, 1 tsp alfalfa, 1 tsp red clover, 1 tsp dandelion leaves, 1 tsp nettles, 6-8 fireweed leaves, 1 oz Mormon tea twigs. If my nose is stuffy, I add 1/2 tsp of mullein (velvet dock) flowers or, for ultimate strength, an entire leaf. Steep 30 minutes or so. (Obviously, some of this I collect myself, which is a lot of fun.) My stepdaughter, bless her for staying with us & helping out, assures me it smells disgusting. I think it smells of fresh mown grass, which I miss in the Rockies. Maybe that's why it always perks me up.
